The top ethics lawyer in President George W. Bush’s administration said President Trump is more likely to be removed from office for having “violated the constitution” than over allegations of sexual misconduct.

“It’s nuts to think Trump will be brought down by past sexual misconduct. Voters knew about that,” Richard Painter tweeted Saturday.

“It’s the fact that he has threatened or violated the constitution -often in several different ways -every single day since he took office. He must go!”
Painter has been a frequent critic of Trump, recently saying that Trump “could be tweeting himself into an obstruction of justice conviction” over his tweet about the firing of Michael Flynn.

His comments come one day after a former Fox News host said that Trump tried to kiss her on the lips more than a decade ago.
