Saturday Night Live took aim at the President’s figure in the cold open, referring to him as having a ‘perfect coke bottle waist’ and weighing a ‘svelte 239 pounds.’
Aidy Bryant returned as Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders alongside Beck Bennett, who portrayed the White House physician Dr Ronnie Jackson.
The press conference sketch started when Sarah Huckabee Sanders, portrayed by Bryant, wished the women of America a happy, if not somewhat misguided Women’s March.
She then briefly mentioned the government shutdown – ensuring that it was the Democrats’ fault, and urging people to tweet about it using the hashtag #Schumer Shutdown, before bringing up ‘the most important news of the week’ the president’s health records.
About the records, Dr Jackson’s character comments ‘I can’t confirm whether the president and Ms Daniels had relations or not, but I can say, if she did, she’s a lucky woman.’
And Daniels, portrayed by Cecily Strong, even made an appearance on the night’s show during Weekend Update – when she told Colin Jost and Michael Che that she is the feminist hero America deserves after Trump’s first year in office.
